The lodge is all inclusive with all the necessities for your stay and hunt in Africa. Idube Safaris Lodge will act as a base of operations on your hunt and will provide everything you need during your stay with us.

From the day you purchase a safari to the day you leave African soil, Idube Safaris will be there to assist with every aspect of your safari to make this an unforgettable trip.

for your flight arrangements to South Africa. They work in association with the NRA and will provide professional assistance for your safari. If you are bringing your own rifles please contact Henry Durrheim from Rifle Permits to assist with the paperwork.

Upon arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg your designated professional hunter will be there with a sign board to meet you at the arrival gate. From there he will accompany you to the lodge and throughout your safari. He will provide professional advice and good company to make your stay with us as stress-free as possible.

On your departure day, your professional hunter will accompany you to the airport and assist where required . He will stick with you until you walk through the boarding gates. We will not leave your side during your stay with us. This is our promise!

The hunt

It is always a good time to hunt in Africa. Please contact our office with possible dates for your safari. We will do our utmost to accommodate you at your preferred dates.

The weather in South Africa is moderate to hot and temperatures range from 60 degrees in the mornings to 90 degrees in the afternoon. Summer-rainfall is between November and February.

Hunting season is from February to October. Rifle hunting occurs throughout the season and the best time for bow hunting is from August to October. (A minimum of 10 days is required for bow hunting).

The professional hunters will have all the necessary hunting equipment, other than your Packing list, for your hunt.

Breakfast is served every morning at a relevant time as discussed and arranged the night before. From there your professional hunter will accompany you on your daily adventures.

Lunch will be served at the lodge or lunch packs will be arranged for enjoyment in the bush, depending on the area you are hunting in.

Dinner will be served at the lodge each night when all hunting parties return and reflect on their hunting experience of the day.

Idube Safaris have access to over 100,000 acres of hunt-able area and hunts will be planned according to the utilization plan set out for each area. This means that you will travel around between hunting concessions depending on which species are desired.

On the day of departure you will be taken to a curio shop and then to the airport.
